Vernon Harten-Ash, Chief Executive Officer
After qualifying, Dr Vernon Harten-Ash practised as a Medical Officer in the Royal Navy before joining the pharmaceutical industry and becoming Medical Director. He studied for an MBA in the US, worked as a consultant and then established Harten Group in 1994. A committee member of BrAPP, Dr Harten-Ash is actively involved in healthcare training for the pharmaceutical industry.
Vernon has unrivalled experience of working with key global players in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries, assessing rapidly what is required in terms of interim support, a multi-disciplinary consultancy team or finding the right person for a permanent role.
Tim Ewbank, Chief Operating Officer
Tim has spent over 15 years working in the biotech and pharmaceutical industries, both as an employee of an immensely successful biotech company, Amgen and subsequently as a consultant and service provider to the industry through Harten Group. Tim's background is in management consultancy with KPMG, mainly in IT and change management, across a variety of clients in different industry sectors.
Tim's role within the company can be summarised as ‘making Harten Group easy to do business with' for clients, consultants and suppliers which includes all internal resourcing and procedures. Externally, he is involved with business development, principally in consulting, but also marketing including authorship of the authoritative Annual Industry Survey, now in its seventh successful year.
