Our service will assist companies acquiring products or services. Our
assessment may form an initial screening process. An overview and rapid
assessment can enable a Go/No Go decision to be made early, if the facts
are clear.
Further in-depth analysis will also be available drawing upon the high
quality support of industrial professionals. Techniques include detailed
technical assessments, commercial market place analysis, competitor analysis
and key opinion leader interviews and formal market research techniques.
Rapid screening reports can be produced in line with the client's specifications.
Formal reports containing full evaluation and Go/No Go recommendations
will be prepared; these can be co-ordinated with other intermediaries
including M & A consultants and finance houses.
Case Study
Our
client, a medium sized US based multinational was offered the opportunity
to acquire three cardiovascular products from a German national pharmaceutical
company.
A
US-based R & D screening assessment would not have been possible within
vendor's time scale. However, two Harten Group consultants completed the
assessment within nine days. The proposal was not to proceed with either
product.
The
UK affiliate was able to screen a complex deal without having to wait
for a Head Office resource window. A credible, fully explained result
enabled the UK management to understand why further progress was not the
right choice and a final "no go" decision meant a saving of
any further resources.
